What to expect:

Beginners receive a list of basic supplies ranging in price from frugal to professional quality.

A sketch and photo provided via email for you to be ready to paint when the workshop starts.

A live demonstration of watercolor techniques including color theory, value and color studies, and other techniques. As questions arise. Everyone participates and shares their work as the see fit.

If you are not a beginner this is a chance to meet other watercolor painters and find out about materials, instructors, societies, shows.

MONTHLY 3-HOUR HAND-ON ZOOM WORKSHOPS
What to expect:

Learn the water-to-paint ratio and other concepts to get the transparent effect characteristic of watercolor.

Practice specific techniques with short painting exercises.

Explore composition principles to design a pleasant landscape

Paint incidental figures for cityscapes and people scenes.

Get a primer on perspective with tips to apply in all your paintings
