Art in the time of quarantine
Since we are now homebound for a while, this is a chance to escape with your brushes and watercolors. Take a journey to a romantic landscape in a foreign country, a picturesque town by a lake, or relive the fond memories of places you have visited. Check out the Tutorials for other subjects of study, including still life, animals, and figure painting.
One-on-one workshops are priced for these challenging times: 90 minute-lesson ($15), or a series of 4hours ($50) at a time designed for beginner and intermediate levels.
What to expect:
Beginners receive a list of basic supplies ranging from frugal to professional quality.
A sketch and photo provided via email for you to be ready to paint when the workshop starts.
An explanation about the fundamentals of classic compositions and basic perspective practice.
A live demonstration of watercolor techniques including color theory, value and color studies, additional techniques.
One-on-one guidance and feedback while you paint.
What you need:
A smartphone, tablet, laptop or desk computer with the Zoom application, Facetime or Skype.
A well-lit space or natural light.
